HMOS

Encyclopedia : H : HM : HMO : HMOS

HMOS, high-performance n-channel MOS, uses n-type metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) to implement logic gates and other digital circuits. It is based on NMOS technology, but compromises higher speed for greater power consumption. This makes it less efficient than NMOS and CMOS.
