HMS Electra

Four ships have been named HMS Electra after the Greek mythological figure, Electra
- The first Electra was a 16 gun Brig Sloop commissioned in 1804. It was wrecked off the coast of Sicily in 25 March 1812.
- It was followed by an 18 gun Sloop Electra commissioned 28 September 1837 and sold in 1862.
- The first destroyer named Electra was a C class destroyer, launched on 14 July 1896. She served in World War I, and was sold for scrapping on 29 March 1920.
- The second destroyer named Electra was an E class destroyer, launched in 1934, served in World War II, rescuing the survivors of the HMS Hood, and was sunk at the Battle of the Java Sea in 1942.
