HMS Glory

Several ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Glory:

Glory, 32 was a fifth-rate broken up in 1786.
Glory was formerly Gloire, a French ship captured in 1781.
Glory, 90 was a second-rate converted to a prison ship in 1809 and broken up in 1825.
Glory, launched in 1899, was a Canopus-class battleship that served in World War I. She was broken up in 1922.
Glory IV was formerly the Russian cruiser Askold, seized by the British in 1918 and used as a depot ship until she was returned to the Soviet Navy in 1920.
Glory (R62), launched in 1943, was a Colossus-class aircraft carrier. She served in World War II and the Korean War. She was scrapped in 1961.
