HMS Hampshire

Six ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Hampshire after the county of Hampshire:
- The first Hampshire was a 46-gun ship launched in 1653 and sunk in 1697 in action with the French ship Pelican in Hudson Bay during the War of the Grand Alliance.
- The second Hampshire was a 48-gun fourth-rate launched in 1698 and broken up in 1739.
- The third Hampshire was a 50-gun fourth-rate launched in 1741 and broken up in 1766.
- The fourth Hampshire, launched in 1903, was a Devonshire-class armoured cruiser. She served in World War I and was sunk by a mine on 5 June 1916.
- The fifth Hampshire (FY173), launched in 1934, was a trawler commissioned as an anti-submarine vessel in 1939. She was sold to the French Navy in 1939.
- The sixth Hampshire (D06), launched in 1963, was a County-class guided missile destroyer. She was scrapped in 1979.
