HMS Iron Duke

Three ships of the British Royal Navy have been named HMS Iron Duke after the Duke of Wellington, nicknamed the "Iron Duke". The name is also a pun, as the first ship so named was an ironclad.
- The first Iron Duke was a battleship launched in 1870 and sold 1906
- The second Iron Duke was the name-ship of a class of battleships, launched in 1912, on harbour service from 1932 and sold 1946.
- The third Iron Duke is a frigate launched in 1991.
