HMS Mounts Bay, named after Mount's Bay, was a Royal Navy Bay class frigate launched in 1945. she was previously named Loch Kilbirnie.

She was sold to Portugal in 1961.

A Royal Fleet Auxiluary ship the RFA Mounts Bay is in development (2005).
