HMS Solebay

Seven ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Solebay after the battle of Solebay on 7 June 1672, the first battle of the Third Anglo-Dutch War.
- Solebay, launched in 1694, was a sixth-rate of 32 guns, wrecked in 1709 near Boston, Massachusetts.
- Solebay, launched in 1711, was a sixth-rate bomb vessel of 6 guns, sold in 1748.
- Solebay, launched in 1742, was a sixth-rate of 20 guns. She fought in the War of the Austrian Succession and the Seven Years' War
- Solebay, launched in 1763, was a sixth-rate of 28 guns. She fought in the American Revolutionary War and was wrecked in 1782.
- Solebay, launched in 1785, was a fifth-rate frigate of 32 guns. She fought in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars and was wrecked in 1809.
- The fifth-rate Iris was renamed Solebay.
- An Algerine-class minesweeper was laid down as Solebay but renamed Skipjack.
- Solebay (D70), launched 1944, was a Battle-class destroyer broken up in 1967.
