HSR Layout stands for Hosur Sarjapur Raste (raste means road in Kannada). It is situated about 15 km south-east of Bangalore city. Landmarks are the National Institute of Fashion Technology, BDA complex, Agara kere (lake), Silk board flyover, Sweet Chariot, etc. It is about 7 km from Jayanagar, and 2 km from Koramangala.
