Hallesches Tor (Berlin U-Bahn)

The underground station Hallesches Tor in Germany is part of the Berlin U-Bahn network. It is at the intersection of the east-west bound U1 and the north-south bound U6.
It is located in Kreuzberg, at the southern end of Friedrichstraße. The Jewish Museum Berlin with its modern building by Daniel Libeskind is nearby.
Hallesches Tor was the name of a southern gate of Berlin, the road through the gate lead via Tempelhof to Halle, Saxony-Anhalt.
