Hao Wei-chen (郝為真, 1842-1920) (may have been born in 1849) was a T'ai Chi Ch'uan student of Master Li I-yu. Hao became a well known and influential teacher of Wu style T'ai Chi Ch'uan (his teacher Li was Wu Yu-hsiang's nephew). His name is also written Hao Weizhen. Hao passed the art to his son and grandson, who became respected teachers in their turn, so that the style is sometimes now known as Wu/Hao style. One of Hao's most famous students was Sun Lu-t'ang.
