The Harbor Gateway is a two-mile wide north-south corridor between Western and Normandie Avenues. that was annexed by the city of Los Angeles specifically to connect San Pedro, Wilmington and the Port of Los Angeles with the rest the city of Los Angeles (note the vertical red line on the map to the right).
