Harter Fell is a mountain in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. It is of height 649 m and is located between the Eskdale and Duddon valleys, from where several routes lead to the top.

From its summit there is an excellent view of the ring of fells known as the Eskdale Horseshoe: Sca Fell, Scafell Pike, Broad Crag, Great End, Esk Pike, Bow Fell and Crinkle Crags. Much of the south-facing slopes are covered with dense conifer plantations owned by the Forestry Commission.
