Hatakeyama Takamasa

Hatakeyama Takamasa (1527-1576) a warlord of the Kwatchi province of Japan during the 16th century of the Sengoku Period. Takamasa was a son of Hatakeyama Masakuni. Takamasa resided at the Takaya Castle in Kwatchi Province. Between the years of 1559 - 1560, Takamasa clashed with the Miyoshi clan. Following the year of 1568, Takamasa was established at Takaya Castle by Ashikaga Yoshiaki. However, following the year of 1573 Takamasa was destined to lose the castle to a rebellious retainer known as Yuza Nobunori. After Oda Nobunaga took the castle not too long after Takamasa was not to regain the castle.
