The Hatano clan was a Japanese clan that mainly saw its downfall around the years of the Sengoku Period of the 16th century.

The Hatano clan was made up of descendants of Fujiwara Hidesato. The Hatano were descendants of Hatano Tsunenori. The Hatano then settled at the province of Tamba following eight generations into the future under Hatano Tsunemoto. However, the Hatano were destroyed by Oda Nobunaga following the year of 1579. Another branch of the Hatano clan managed to survive at Echizen province.
