Hatsukaichi (廿日市市; -shi) is a city located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
Following the absorption of nearby Ono and Miyajima towns on November 3, 2005, Hatsukaichi City has an estimated population of 119,000 and the density of 226.92 persons per km². The total area is 489.36km².
The city was founded on April 1, 1988.
The city enjoys a Sister City relationship with Masterton, New Zealand.
The Itsukushima Shrine on the island of Itsukushima is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
