Hatti (URUHa-at-ti) was the name of a region in Bronze Age Anatolia inhabited by the Hattians between the 3rd and 2nd millennia BC, and later by the Hittites, who were at the height of their power ca 1400 BC–1200 BC. The capital city of both peoples was Hattusa in what is now central-northern Turkey. Later, in the 1st millennium BC, "Hatti-Land" is the Assyrian designation for the areas to the west of the Euphrates controlled by Neo-Hittite kingdoms.
