He Weifang

He Weifang (Simplified Chinese: }}}; Traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: ) is a professor at Peking University of China and an activist striving to reform the Chinese judicial system. He earned a B.A. at Southwestern University of Politics and Law, and a J.M. at the Chinese University of Politics and Law. He was a teacher and editor in Chinese University of Politics and Law from 1985 to 1995. He them moved to Peking University and become a professor and advisor to Ph.D. and J.M. candidates.
Since 1992, he has strived to reform the Chinese judicial system. He has written many papers on the importance of modernizing China's judicial system, earning him the nickname "Justice He". His works includes The Judicial Ideals and Institutions and The Ways to Carry Justice.
