Hectometre

- A hectometre (abbreviation: hm) is a somewhat uncommonly used measurement of length, consisting of 100 metres or one tenth of a kilometre.
- A more common surface derivative is the hectare, which is a measurement of area with dimensions 1 hectometre by 1 hectometre, hence equating to 1 square hectometre, or 10000 square metres.
- For volumes is also used the hm3.
