Heeling

Encyclopedia : H : HE : HEE : Heeling

Heeling is the lean caused by the wind's force on the sails of a sailing vessel. See the description under Sailing.

Heeling can also mean the action that is performed when users of 'Heelys' shoes engage the wheel to roll along the ground, rather than using the shoe like a 'regular shoe'. Heeling is slowly becoming a popular urban sport, it is frowned upon to call this action 'heelying'.
