Herzogenaurach

Herzogenaurach is a town in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt in Middle Franconia and is the birthplace of sporting goods giants Adidas and Puma and still the city of their headquarters.
Herzogenaurach has about 24,000 inhabitants. It is located about 23 km northwest of Nüremberg.
At least 1000 years in existence, Herzogenaurach was first mentioned in a document in the year 1002 CE under the name of Uraha.
The Argentina national football team was to have concentrated in May 2006 in Herzogenaurach for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
