Hewanorra International Airport , near Vieux-Fort, Saint Lucia, in the Caribbean, is the larger of the country's two airports and is managed by the Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA).

The airport is a Fire Category 8 airport that handles 440,000 passengers a year and has the capability of receiving Boeing 747 and smaller airplanes. Aircraft maintenance there is carried out by Caribbean Dispatch Services. Mainly a hotbed for charter airlines, the airport is also a hub for the international airline LIAT, a fairly sized small airplane company that flies to many destinations around the Caribbean from this airport, and, domestically, to Saint Lucia's other airport. George F. L. Charles Airport is located in Castries, Saint Lucia and handles inter-Caribbean flights, as well as to Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
