Hi-Standard is a Japanese punk rock group formed in 1991 in Japan.

The group actually has 5 album releases(same names excluding the fifth) and a single release (The Kids Are Alright) in Japan, but the songs from the fifth album: "Last of Sunny Day," are combined with the albums: "Growing Up" and "Angry Fist" for the U.S. releases. Some of Hi-Standard's songs are punk rock versions of American pop songs of the 1970s and 80's. Examples would be "California Dreamin'" and "Green Acres." and "Can't stop falling love". "Making the Road" is considered to be their best album by Japanese fans.
