Hit & Run is the group blog of Reason (magazine). Hit & Run is maintained and written by the staff of the magazine. Hit & Run began in 2002 as an adjunct to the Reason website, and has gained a large following. It won a 2005 Weblog Award, and was named as one of Playboy's best political blogs.

Hit & Run allows unmoderated comments and attracts a strong core readership. Hit & Run commenters have spun off a [separate site] for extra commentary and have organized several social [gatherings].
