Hitomi Yaida

born July 28, 1978 in Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan[link] is a Japanese folk rock singer/songwriter and guitarist. She often goes by the nickname Yaiko. She graduated from Kansai University with a degree in French language and literature. Her father, Osamu Yaida, is a professor at the women's university in Kyoto. She is currently on the Aozora record label.
