The Staatliches Hofbräuhaus in München (lit. state court-brewery in Munich, also Hofbräu München) is a brewery in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, owned by the state government. The Hof (translated as court) comes from the brewery's history as a royal brewery in the Kingdom of Bavaria.

The brewery operates the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, the Hofbräukeller, and the second largest tent at the Oktoberfest (Hofbräu-Festzelt). Of course, it is the only beer served there.

Hofbräuhaus has been operating in Melbourne, Australia since 1968. Hofbräuhaus franchises have been opened in the U.S. (Newport, Kentucky, Las Vegas, Nevada, and soon to open in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). There has been a franchise at the Bangkok International Airport in the 1990s for some years as well.
