Hoichi Kano

Hoichi Kano is the main character of Cannon God Exaxxion, a manga by Kenichi Sonoda. Hohci is called 'Gun' by his friends, which is a joke on his name. He is called this due to the fact that the kanji symbol for 'Ho' in his name means Gun in Japanese. Hoichi is a student of Howa high school when the Riofaldians take over. After a meeting with Isaka, pictured above, Hoichi is made into the saviour of the Earth by his grandfather, and later reveled to be father, Hokuse Kano. He is given the Gunner suit (pictured), a super strong powersuit for fighting the Riofaldians and their high tech robots, and is the piolt of the XXX Unit Exaxxion.
