Holberg International Memorial Prize

The Holberg International Memorial Prize is awarded for outstanding scholarly work in humanities, social sciences, law, and theology. It's first reciepient was Julia Kristeva in 2004, and in 2005 it was awarded to Jürgen Habermas.

The prize is named after the playwright Ludvig Holberg, and is awarded yearly by the University of Bergen.
