Boundaries
The seat was created in 1983 as a successor to the Holborn and St. Pancras South which had been in existence since 1950.Boundary review
Following their review of parliamentary representation in North London the Boundary Commission for England has recommended the creation of a modified Holborn constituency, made from the following electoral wards in the London Borough of Campden:
- Bloomsbury, Camden Town with Primrose Hill, Cantelowes, Gospel Oak, Haverstock, Highgate, Holborn and Covent Garden, Kentish Town, King's Cross, Regent's Park, St Pancras and Somers Town.
Members of Parliament
The seat has been held since 1983 by Frank Dobson for Labour, who had been elected to the predecessor seat of Holborn and St. Pancras South in 1979.Election results
