Holon Academic Institute of Technology

The Holon Institute of Technology (Hebrew: מכון אקדמי טכנולוגי חולון) is a college in Holon, Israel.
The college was opened in 1969, with 100 students and until 2000 was affiliated with Tel Aviv University called Center for Technological Education Holon (CTEH). In 2000 it became an independent academic institution called Holon Academic Institute of Technology (HAIT) and in 2006 Holon Institute of Technology (H.I.T.). In 2003 it had 2500 students and 100 lecturers and researchers, and planned to double the number of students and, by 2007, to double its built area (15000 square meters in 2003).
The college is accredited to give bachelor's degrees and master's degrees without thesis in these areas: electrical and electronic engineering, management of technology,computer sciences, and design (industrial design, interior design and visual communications design); It does not have yet doctoral-degree programs.
