Encyclopedia : H : HO : HOM : Homalocephale
Homalocephale (from Greek homalos, even, and kephalē, head) was a large plant-eating boneheaded homalocephalid dinosaur which lived during the Late Cretaceous. The animal had a flat skull and was noted for its wide hips, probably to cushion impact during battles or defending itself against predators.
