Hsinchu County

Hsinchu County (Traditional Chinese: 新竹縣; Hanyu Pinyin: Xīnzhú Xiàn; Wade-Giles: Hsin-chu Hsien; POJ: Sin-tek-kōan) is a county in northwestern Taiwan. The population is mainly Hakka; there is a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county.
