Prince Hso Khan Pha of Yaunghwe (aka Tiger) (born April 15, 1938 in Yawnghwe State, British Burma) is a geologist who lives in exile in Canada. He is son of Sao Shwe Thaik and First Cousins Twice Removed of Sao Pan Thee who is pretender to Shan Kanbawza Throne.[[Citing sources citation needed]]
Hso Khan Pha is politically pressuring the government of Burma on behalf of the Shan people. He also works with Shan exiles abroad to help provide schooling for displaced Shan children whose parents are unable to send them to school, in order to give them some training in life skills to fend for themselves and their families in the future.
Prince Hso Khan Pha has been working closely with exiled Pro-claimed Prince Shwebomin of Burma to promote the protection of the Shan People Religious, Traditional, Culture and indegenious land in Burma.
Prince Hso Khan Pha of Yawnghwe is a member of the Southeast Asia Imperial & Royal League and works with the League President Prince Nguyen Phuc Buu Chanh of Vietnam on charitable and social programs to improve the life of their people.
Prince Hso Khan Pha is a founding member of Burma Watch International.
