Huilliche language is an Araucanian language spoken in Chile by the the ethnic group Huilliche. It is spoken in mountain valleys in an area south of the Mapuche and on ChiloƩ Island.
Alternative names for this language are Veliche and Huiliche. There is a dialect called Tsesungun. Mapudungun, the language of the Mapuche, is closely related.
It has several thousand speakers.
