Humans are a race available for player characters in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. Although short-lived by comparison, humans are the most populous of all Dungeons & Dragons races. They are renowned for their diversity and ambition, and although they lack specializations like other races, they can excel in many areas. Subspecies of humans include the planetouched Aasimars, Genasis, and Tieflings.
Benifets and Penelties
As of 3.5 Humans gain an extra feat during character creation as well as an automatic four more skill points during character creation. Humans also have no predefined alignment, allowing for a greater choice of classes/ prestige classes.Humans in Forgotten Realms
Throughout the many campaign settings such as Forgotten Realms, many nations and organizations are founded by humans. Well-known D&D deities, such as Lathander and Talos are worshipped primarily by humans.
