Encyclopedia : H : HU : HUR : Hurley International

Hurley International is a youth clothing company located in Irvine, California founded by the Bob Hurley in Williamsburg, Virginia. The company puts emphasis on skateboarding, surfing, music, and fun. The biggest factor in the brand's growth to popularity was the fact that popular pop-punk bands, especially blink-182 (in their prime), would frequently sport Hurley clothing.

Hurley International was sold to Nike, Inc. in 2002 for an undisclosed amount.

The Hurley International Skate Team released the video Hallowed Ground in 2001
