Hyakumeizan

Encyclopedia : H : HY : HYA : Hyakumeizan

The hyakumeizan is a list of 100 Japanese mountains, compiled by Kyuya Fukada in 1964. The highest of these is Mount Fuji.

Few of these are technically challenging, so they are approachable for amateur mountaineers.

Several groups have attempted to climb the full hyakumeizan, to raise money for charitable causes.
