I-DEAS

I-DEAS was a Computer-aided design software package of Structural Dynamics Research Corporation which was bought in 2001 by its competitor, Electronic Data Systems. EDS acquired, but later sold, UGS Corp. (maker of Unigraphics) and SDRC (maker of I-DEAS) and decided to merge these two products into NX.
