IFC Films is an American film distribution company based in New York, owned by the Independent Film Channel. It exclusively distributes independent films and documentaries, its first release being the 1999 drama film Spring Forward. Other releases include Y tu mamá también, Fahrenheit 9/11, Nobody Knows and Turtles Can Fly.
