IFK Malmö

IFK Malmö is a Swedish sport club. Among others, they have teams in Bandy, football (soccer) and handball. The club was founded April 23, 1899.
Football IFK participated in the first season of Allsvenskan in 1924/25. The club has altogether played 13 seasons in the premier division, in 1960 IFK finished second. In 1961 they made it to the quarterfinals in the European Cup (losing to Rapid Vienna). At home IFK plays in yellow jerseys, white shorts and white socks. The club plays at Malmö IP (c. 7,600).
Handball IFK played in the premier division, Elitserien, 2004/05. They play in Baltiska Hallen (c. 4000). Their colours are yellow and white.
