Ian Buchanan

Ian Buchanan (born June 16, 1957 in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland) is a Scottish television actor who most recently starred on the long-running soap opera "All My Children" as Greg Madden.
His first major work in the United States was playing the character of Duke Lavery on the soap General Hospital from 1986 to 1989. After leaving the soap he landed a role on the series Twin Peaks from 1990-1991, as well as the role of Peter Lawford in a miniseries chronicling Marilyn Monroe's alleged affair with Robert F. Kennedy. From there, he returned to daytime, joining the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. James Warwick in 1993; he left the show in 1998, and after a small part in the movie Panic Room (2002), he returned yet again to soaps, playing Joshua Temple on Port Charles (2002-2003).
In May 2005, Buchanan joined the cast of All My Children, creating the role of Dr. Greg Madden. His character was killed off on July 2nd, 2006.
