Ice Crystals are a form of precipitation.
- AKA Diamond Dust
- a fall of non-branched ice crystals in the form of needles, columns or even plates,
- so small they may appear to be suspended in the air, they glitter in sunlight,
- can fall from a cloudless sky,
- typicaly found in the polar regions, they require very cold temperatures and stable air.
