Idiotlamp Productions Limited, more commonly known simply as idiotlamp, is a small independent production company based in London, UK. The company was formed in 2001 by the writing/producing/directing partnership of Jim Field Smith and George Kay, who are now listed as joint directors of the limited company formed in January 2005 with company number 5325054. What do they do?

Idiotlamp makes TV and radio programmes, short films and commercials.

Credits

TV and film production credits include the short documentary series "MY FRIEND..." for Channel 4 and the acclaimed spoof documentary "MISSING MOSCOW", which premiered at the Raindance film festival and was later broadcast on Channel 4.

Idiotlamp has also produced a number of award winning commercials and viral campaigns, most recently on behalf of the advertising agencies Glue London and Lean Mean Fighting Machine, for clients including AOL, MINI and Virgin Games.
