Illyro-Roman

A term used to describe the Romanized Illyrian population within the Roman Province of Illyria. The remanants of the Illyro-Romans was absorbed into successive waves of invaders to the Balkans. Latin was still spoken on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia until the nineteenth century.
