In Patagonia is a travel book in the English language, written by Bruce Chatwin and published in 1977. Its ingenuity has become of source of inspiration for travel writers.

The book describes Chatwin's journey through the bleak Patagonian landscape and his encounters with the strange assortment of people that live there. Chatwin's fascination with Patagonia had its roots in a scrap of mylodon skin that an ancestor had sent to his relatives in England.
