Inazawa (稲沢市; -shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan. The city was founded on November 1, 1958.

As of April 1, 2006 the city has an estimated population of 137,890 and the density of 1739 persons per km². The total area is 79.30 km².

Merger

On April 1, 2005 the towns of Heiwa and Sobue merged into the city of Inazawa. Before the merger, 2003, Inazawa had an estimated population of 101,031 and the density of 2,090 persons per km². The former area of Inazawa was 48.35 km².
