The Incredible Family is a family of superheroes who first appeared in the Disney/Pixar film, The Incredibles. The team consists of:

Robert "Bob" Parr/Mr. Incredible: The head of the household and physically the strongest member of the family. He was the most popular "Super" in the world in his heyday.
Helen Parr/Mrs. Incredible: Bob's elastic wife and a dedicated mother-of-three. Formerly known as Elastigirl. She could be considered the co-leader of the family/team alongside Bob (even though Bob has a higher level of authority as the head of the household).
Violet "Vi" Parr/Violet Incredible: Bob and Helen's eldest (teenage) child and sole daughter who can generate force fields and turn invisible.
Dashiell Robert Parr/The Incredible Dash: Bob and Helen's super-fast and mischievous (especially on Violet) middle child (in his late childhood) with a hatred for authority.
Jack-Jack Parr/Jack-Jack Incredible: Bob and Helen's youngest (still an infant) and the most powerful member of the family, with a seemingly endless multitude of superpowers.

The family has excellent relations with Lucius Best/Frozone—Bob's long-time friend—as well as ties to the National Supers Agency; their agent is Richard "Rick" Dicker. The Incredibles receive their gadgetry and Super-Suits from Edna Mode, the world's top superhero fashion designer.

Story

Bob and Helen got married on the eve of the end of the Golden Age of Superheroes, before Bob got sued by Oliver Sansweet, a kamikaze jumper whom Mr. Incredible had rescued. After Supers the world over ended up appearing in court and losing their cases, the couple was forced to retire for fifteen years, during which they had Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack. After the public was indebted to the family and Frozone after their foiling of Operation Kronos, the ban on the Supers was lifted. However, their victory was not without a price: Syndrome, the mastermind of Operation Kronos, became the family's first enemy (he may not be their archenemy anymore as he was seemingly killed when he ended up sucked in a turbine engine of his jet since he wore a cape, but he could have survived).

It was from then on that the superhero business became the family affair that it is today.

The Underminer became their second enemy as the creator of the Magnomizer, a machine that would make Earth feel like his home underground (even though it was only Mr. Incredible and Frozone who fought him and destroyed the Magnomizer while Mr. Incredible ordered his family to flee Metroville). The villain appeared to die when the machine he was on crashed onto a bigger machine, creating a huge explosion.

In the ending credits for the movie, the silhouette of a newer version of the Incredibile for the entire family is seen just before the scrolling begins.
