Infant school

An Infant school is a type of school which caters for young children, usually between the ages of 4 and 7. In the U.K. it is usually a small school serving a particular locality. It will more often than not have an intake of less than 3 classes per academic year. Each class is also limited to less than 30 pupils per teacher.
