Inga Peulich

Inga Peulich is an Australian politician. She was born Inga Dosen in Bosnia-Herzegovnia on the 17th October 1956. She migrated to Australia in 1969 with her family. Peulich has a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Education. Before being the State Liberal Member for Bentleigh in the Victorian Legislative Assembly, Peulich was a part-time worker in the hospitality industry, and ateacher in English and Psychology. In 1989, Inga Peulich joined the Moorabbin Branch of the Liberal Party and a year after that, she was elected to the Moorabbin City Council. She was a Liberal Party of Australia member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1992 to 2002, representing the electorate of Bentleigh. One of many members elected in Jeff Kennett's landslide win at the 1992 election, Peulich was a prominent backbencher before being swept away in the party's landslide loss at the 2002 election.

After losing her seat, she became involved in the party's administrative wing, and rose to become state vice-president. She is a strong chance to return to parliament at the 2006 election, after defeating incumbent member Chris Strong for a winnable position on the Liberal ticket for the state upper house, the Legislative Council. Inga Peulich is guarenteed second spot for the Liberal Party in the South Eastern Metropolitan Region.

Inga Peulich is married to small business owner and engineer Savo Peulich. Inga and Savo have a son named Paul.
