Initao is a 4th class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 27,035 people in 5,702 households.
Initao has an ideal seascape for snorkeling, with large and diverse corals. Hard corrals dominate the underwater and a wide variety of fish can be found making the formations its safe and protected habitat. Tourists interested in a snorkeling safari may set-up a tent or rent cottages located near the park.
