Inkpen is a village and civil parish in Berkshire, England.

It is situated in the south-west of Berkshire, close to the Wiltshire and Hampshire border. The nearest town is Newbury. Nearby villages include Ham in Wiltshire and Combe, Berkshire.

Local Landmarks

There are no shops in Inkpen; the only public commercial establishments are 2 pubs (The Crown & Garter, The Swan). There is a small (approx. 80 students) primary school (Inkpen County Primary School) and a village hall. There used to be a Post Office, but it closed down during the 80's.
